EH Holden wagon
The EH was supposed to just be a quick touchup but it all snowballed and ended up as quite a big job so it now deserves it’s own page. It started off as a little rust repair around the rear windows. That went quite well so the owner asked me to investigate the little bubble on the roof. And that became a major job… That little bubble was hiding some horrors… There was a lot of rust covered by a huge amount of filler. At some stage someone had woprked on the car and seam sealed the drain holes closed, oops! They’re there for a reason… I had to cut a large strip of the roof skin off, repair the inner structure then make up a new roof skin section and weld that in place before priming and painting. Sounds easy when you say it quickly!
