So, as is often the case, there was more rust than anticipated… One new outer sill and a bit of patching later it was all strong again. Then we went further than we were supposed to and stripped some of the the panels to bare metal. After that it was time to prime and paint before reassembly. It came out great considering it was just a budget tidy up!

It’s basically a nice solid little car. A little bit of rust but nothing for what these things are usually like! Needs a few new rubbers, the usual splits in the doors around the window openings welded up, fill in that awful aerial hole and away we go.
