Here at The Classic Factory, we only do bodywork the right way – the old-fashioned way.

We hand-fabricate panels using our extensive array of time-honoured tools like our English Wheel, Pullmax Power Hammer, pneumatic planishing hammer, and bead roller. We butt weld all patches and we keep the use of filler to an absolute minimum. We assess each car carefully and take the time to go through the process with you to make sure you are satisfied with the results.

Bodywork

TIER 1

All rusted parts are repaired. The only way to repair rust is to remove the affected portion and replace it with new metal. Despite what you may have read or seen on TV, rusted parts can’t be converted or covered over. Any dents will also be repaired as needed.

TIER 2

All rusted parts are repaired, but with all panels prepped and painted on the backsides. Attention is also paid to gaps and panel alignment, and the chassis is prepped and painted in the correct and appropriate finish.

TIER 3

Just like with the first two tiers, but with a very high level of attention paid to gaps, alignment and making the vehicle perfectly straight.
